Bank holiday weekend celebrations in the heart of Newcastle
This year the Royal Society of Chemistry is celebrating its 175th Anniversary and as such is asking all of its members and supporters around the world to dedicate 175 minutes to chemistry. As a long standing member of the RSC, Karl Reid our Technical Director has decided to pledge his 175 minutes by helping to run the RSC stand at the upcoming Newcastle Mela Festival
The Mela is a free family event, based around Pakistani, Bengali, Indian and other South Asian cultures, and is open to anyone who wants to learn more, be entertained and meet new people as well as enjoy different music, art and food in the heart of Newcastle.
The RSC will be taking their “Chemistry of Curry” scents, turmeric painting, and the colours in culture activities to the Mela Festival and Karl is looking forward to seeing you all there!
